Introduction<\/h2>

On Bastille Day, in Paris, hundreds of thousands of eyes turn each year toward the Eiffel Tower. From the crowd at the Trocad\u00e9ro, from packed quays, from rooftops or the open windows of Parisian apartments, they all wait for the same moment: the moment when the sky lights up above the Iron Lady.<\/p>

In 2026, this rendezvous will take a different form. The fireworks traditionally fired on July 14th will be exceptionally moved to the evening of July 13th, by decision of the City of Paris. The celebration will therefore take place the day before, along the banks of the Seine, at the Champ-de-Mars and the Trocad\u00e9ro.<\/p>

And among those eyes, some will be different. They will look up from the deck of a boat that will have left the bank in the early evening to reach the heart of the Seine, to meet the fireworks. On board, Paradis Latin, the only cabaret in Paris founded under Napoleon and rebuilt by Eiffel.<\/p>

From the Quai Henri IV to the Eiffel Tower: the story of one night<\/h2>

Boarding will take on place July 13th 2026 at \"Cocktail<\/a>Quai Henri IV, just a few steps from the Bastille, where the French national holiday traces its most famous origin. From the deck, a Len\u00f4tre and Bollinger cocktail will be served, in the soft light of a late summer afternoon. This is where the evening will truly begin, drifting along the water.<\/p>

The boat will then sail up the Seine through nearly two thousand years of Parisian history. Notre-Dame, the Pont-Neuf, the Louvre, the Pont des Arts, the Monnaie de Paris, the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay, the Assembl\u00e9e Nationale, the Pont Alexandre III. On both banks, the capital’s most iconic landmarks will pass by, as the backdrop of an evening already underway.<\/p>

\"Artiste<\/a>On board, an exclusive show will be performed by the artists of the Paradis Latin. Feathers, French Cancan, the energy of a cabaret that has been keeping the Parisian tradition of spectacle alive since 1889. Then comes dinner, signed Len\u00f4tre, accompanied by the Bollinger cuv\u00e9es. The menu and the service will play the same tune as the evening: an elegance that has nothing to prove.<\/p>

Around nine forty-five in the evening, the boat will take position to offer a clear view of the fireworks fired from the Eiffel Tower. At eleven, the first lights of the fireworks will illuminate the Parisian sky. For a few minutes, the French national holiday will be experienced from the front row, on the Seine, with no crowds, no waiting, no screens.<\/p>

At eleven thirty, the evening will shift in tempo. A DJ set will take over, and the dancing night will continue until one in the morning on the deck of the boat. The Seine, the lights of Paris, the music. A way of extending the celebration, in the refined style that has always been the Paradis Latin’s signature.<\/p>

Why this night is not like the others ?<\/h2>

There is a coincidence in this story, and it deserves a moment of attention. The Eiffel Tower was inaugurated in March 1889, on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition celebrating the centenary of the French Revolution. The same year, a few kilometres away, in the Quartier Latin, another construction was coming to an end. A cabaret was reopening its doors after several years of closure. Its architect? The same as the Tower’s: Gustave Eiffel.<\/p>

The Paradis Latin and the Eiffel Tower are therefore, quite literally, twin works. Born the same year, signed by the same hand, at the heart of a Paris that was then inventing a new way of celebrating.<\/p>

More than a century later, these two Parisian works will meet again for one night. The Paradis Latin will sail up the Seine, and each guest on board will contemplate, at the heart of the fireworks, the other great work signed by the architect who built the cabaret. A loop that, until now, had never been traced.<\/p>
