Salis pr\u00e9sente lui-m\u00eame chaque num\u00e9ro et teinte ses commentaires de satire politique. Le Chat Noir connait un succ\u00e8s fulgurant. Son concept novateur pour l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, qui permet aux clients de se sustenter tout en assistant \u00e0 des spectacles dans une atmosph\u00e8re d\u00e9fiant la morale bourgeoise, fait fureur et se r\u00e9pand \u00e0 Paris.
